Children’s Long-Term Support Program

The Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program provides services for children and young adults under the age of 22 with significant developmental, physical, or emotional disabilities. These services support participants and their families to remain in their homes and communities.

For information specific to children and families, visit the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) website.

DHS contracts with a claims processor for CLTS Waiver provider services. The DHS claims processor is Gainwell Technologies (Gainwell), the fiscal agent for ForwardHealth. Gainwell processes and issues payments for CLTS services, collects and reports claims data, and recovers overpayments on behalf of DHS according to federal regulations.
