Portal Prior Authorization Enhancements For Providers

ForwardHealth has implemented Portal enhancements to improve the user experience when using the prior authorization (PA) features on the ForwardHealth Portal.

Enhancements to the Portal include the following functional changes:

• A new copy PA button that allows users to copy an approved PA for the same member.
• A new link enabling users to view their uploaded PA attachments and system generated notices.
• The ability to remove or change a PA document if the wrong document is uploaded.
• Improved ease of use when adding or deleting line items on the Service Information panel.
• The first and last name will be prefilled once the member’s ID is entered.
• The view PA decision notice button has been moved and highlighted to make it more visible for users. The PA decision notice is also now available to view from the Provider’s home page.
• A new pop-up search box for users to search the correct place of service code or modifier.
• Fewer clicks and scrolling throughout the PA workflows.
