Description:

The Wheelchair Recycling Program — Mobility Store, is an innovative non-profit that offers low cost, refurbished and sanitized mobility and medical equipment to those who lack the resources to acquire new equipment.

All equipment is donated to WRP by individuals, businesses, and other nonprofit agencies. Every item is carefully sanitized and repaired by experienced workers at Badger State Industries. Every dollar collected for equipment is re-invested in the program and helps to sustain our services.

Description:  Wheels for the World is a non-profit organization that collects used adult and pediatric manual wheelchairs, foldable walkers, canes, and metal crutches. They are refurbished and taken to developing nations where these items are nearly impossible to get. The items are personally fit to the individual recipient by teams of disability specialists including PTs, OTs, and DME specialists. There are volunteers around Wisconsin collecting these items. Many are willing to pick up the item from the donor. Receipts are provided to donors.
