ForwardHealth Will Accept Digital Scans of Orthodontic Models
Beginning in August 2026, ForwardHealth will accept digital scans required for prior authorization (PA) through the ForwardHealth Portal (the Portal). Providers will be able to upload digital scans of orthodontic models in multiple file formats, including .DCM, .STL, .PLY, and .OBJ in addition to .3DM files, and submit them on the Portal with their PA request.
