Online (Real-Time, Web-Based) Training Opportunities for Providers

In 2015, ForwardHealth is offering more online (real-time, Web-based) training sessions than ever before. Visit Trainings to see all upcoming online (real-time, Web-based) training opportunities, or contact your Professional Relations representative to request a customized session.

International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision Readiness

Beginning in May 2015, all providers are encouraged to attend training sessions to prepare for ICD-10 compliance, including timelines, code set information, available resources, and testing.

For more information on ICD-10 readiness, refer to Update 2015-15 "Upcoming Training Sessions Available for Providers Regarding International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision Readiness".

These training sessions will cover the following topics:

  • Background.
  • Compliance timelines.
  • Code set differences.
  • New ICD-10 code descriptions.
  • Code resources.
  • Preparing for ICD-10.
  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) readiness resources.
  • ForwardHealth resources.
  • End-to-end testing.

Registration

Providers do not need to register to participate in these online (real-time, Web-based) training sessions.

Participation

These online (real-time, Web-based) sessions are facilitated through HP® MyRoom. Prior to attending a MyRoom session for the first time, providers will need to download and install MyRoom software. Access the "Information Regarding HP® MyRoom" document for basic information regarding downloading, installing, and using MyRoom.

Note: A separate phone line/phone number is not needed to listen in/participate in a MyRoom training session. For assistance with the sound or the communication tools in MyRoom, contact MyRoom technical support at (888) 351-4732.

The presentation and associated training material will be available to download and print from this page one week prior to the training session.

Participants enter MyRoom by selecting the appropriate participant key below. Participants may enter the training session at 11:45 a.m. These training sessions begin at 12:00 p.m. (CST) and end at 1:15 p.m. (CST).
